Awards and Prizes

SCHOOL OFFERS THE FOLLOWING AWARDS AND PRIZES ANNUALLY FOR BRILLIANT STUDENTS

1 Candidates securing 1st rank in Board / Univ. Exam Cash Prize of Rs. 31000/-  
2 Candidates ranking among the first 10  in the Board /Uni. Exam Cash Prize of Rs. 21000/-
3 Candidates securing 1st rank at the State  Level Cash Prize of Rs. 11000/-
4 Candidates securing 1st rank at the District Level Cash Prize of Rs.    5100/-
5 Candidates securing 1st Rank in School Final Exams 30% concession in Tuition Fee
6 Candidates securing 2nd  Rank in School Final Exams 20% concession in Tuition Fee
7 Candidates securing 3rd Rank in School Final Exams 10% concession in Tuition Fee

Concession in fee shall be given in the next class, except for 12th students who will be provided concession in fee for the current year for their standings in 11th std.  

Besides the concession, all candidates would be awarded one Merit Certificate along with a medal each; one candidate would be eligible to claim only one incentive. Further, in case of a tie in marks, the younger would be awarded for next rank.    

Besides the above, the management has started FOLLOWING MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS for brilliant students of different  classes as under 

A) Dr. APJ ABDUL KALAM OPEN SCHOLARSHIP 
A scholarship in the name of  Missile Man of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is awarded through a written exam held every year on 15th October, the birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The scholarship exam is conducted  for students of 3rd to 10th Std., and the winners of the scholarship are awarded as

Standing Scholarship Eligibility
Overall 1st position  Rs. 31000/- Minimum 60% Marks in aggregate and 50%  in the individual paper
Overall 2nd position Rs. 21000/-
Overall 3rd position  Rs. 11000/-
1st Position in each Class 50% Rebate in the Tuition Fee for the next session As above plus minimum participants for individual class is 5 or more than 5
2nd Position in each  Class 30% Rebate in the Tuition Fee for the next session As above plus minimum participants for individual class is 9 or more than 9
3rd Position in each  Class 20% Rebate in the Tuition Fee for the next session As above plus minimum participants for individual class is 12 or more than 12

The students can claim a concession only for one category. 

B) YOUNG SCIENTIST SCHOLARSHIP: 
Students studying in classes VI to X can participate in a project-based competition (details given in description of scholarship) to be held every year on 28th February in 2 groups ( Gr-I-Grade VI-VIII and Gr-II Grade IX-X), One winner from each group will be selected as Young  Scientists who will get  25% concession in Tuition fee in the next session, besides certification and a medal.  

C) YOUNG WRITER SCHOLARSHIP: 
Students studying in classes IX  to  XII can participate in a literary competition (details given in description of scholarship) to be held on 7th May, where one boy and one girl will be selected as Young Writers who will get 25% concession in Tuition fee in the next session, besides certification and a medal. (For class XII Std. The award will be applicable for the current session. 

D) YOUNG MATHEMATICIAN SCHOLARSHIP:  
Students studying in classes IV to X can participate in a Mental Maths competition (details given in description of scholarship) to be held every year 22nd December, competition will be held in 2 groups ( Gr-I-Grade IV-VIII and Gr-II Grade IX-X) where one Student securing maximum marks will be selected as Young Mathematician who will get  25% concession in Tuition fee in next session besides certification and a medal.  

E) YOUNG ARTIST SCHOLARSHIP: 
Students studying in classes I to 12 can participate in an art competition to be held every year on 3rd  October in remembrance of the great Indian Artist and Painter Raja Ravi Varma. The competition will be held in 4 groups ( Gr-I-Grade I-II,  Gr-II Grade III-V, Gr-III Grade VI-VIII, and Gr-IV Grade IX-XII ). One student from each group will be selected as a Young Artist and will get  10% concession in the Tuition fee in the next session, besides certification and a medal.  

F) BEST CALLIGRAPHY AWARD 
Students studying in classes Nursery to 12 can participate in one or both languages, English and  Hindi calligraphy competition (details given in description of scholarship)to be held every year on the Second Wednesday of August to mark WORLD CALLIGRAPHY DAY. The competition will be held in 5 groups ( Gr-I Nursery to UKG, Gr-II-Grade I-II,  Gr-III Grade III-V, Gr-IV Grade VI-VIII, and Gr-V Grade IX-XII ), one student from each group for each language will be selected for the Calligraphy Award, under which 10% concession in Tuition fee in next session besides certification and a medal will be provided. 
 
G) BEST SPEAKER AWARD 
Students of Grades III  to 12 can participate in the Best Speaker Award (details given in description of scholarship)to be held every year on 12th January on the Birthday of the GREATEST THINKER OF MODERN ERA, SWAMI VIVEKANAND. The competition will be held in 3 groups (Gr-I Grade III-V, Gr-II Grade VI-VIII, and Gr-III- Grade IX-XII ), one student from each group will be selected for the Best Speaker Award, under which 10% concession in Tuition fee in the next session, besides certification and a medal will be provided.  

Note:- A student can participate in as many competitions as he wants and can win simultaneously more than one Scholarship / Award.  
H) YOUNG PROGRAMMER OF THE YEAR 

Students of Grades III  to 12 can participate individually or in groups in the YOUNG PROGRAMMER OF THE YEAR AWARD, which is held every year on 24th December. Competition will be held in three groups (Gr-I Grade-III-V, Gr-II Grade-VI-VIII, and Gr-III Grade IX-XII), one student from each group will be selected for the YOUNG PROGRAMMER OF THE YEAR AWARD, under which 25% concession in Tuition fee in the next session, besides certification and a medal will be provided.  

Note:- For any award scholarship, a minimum 3 participants are mandatory for a single prize, 7 for two positions, and 9 for 3rd position.   

  1. GLORIOUS AWARDS

            Students will be awarded the following glorious awards on the basis of their performance in various fields as under

  1. A) ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

            A student securing the first position in three classes consecutively will be awarded a cash prize of the value of Rs. 11000 plus one  Trophy and  Certification.

  1. B) SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (Other than Sports and Co-Curricular Activities)

            Students selected through some competition organized by any Govt. or Govt. approved body representing School / District / State or winning at District / State / National level, will be awarded as under 

  • MEDALISTS AT NATIONAL LEVEL             - 21000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • MEDALISTS AT STATE LEVEL                   - 11000 + Trophy + Certificate
  • MEDALISTS AT DISTRICT  LEVEL             – 5100 + Trophy + Certificate

            One Student can claim only one prize of the highest level.
